Dedicated to the memory of Berthlyn Campbell

This site is a tribute to Berthlyn Campbell, who was born in Jamaica on August 12, 1948. She lived in the South East of London from the age of 12 years old until her passing in her family home in the town of Erith where she had lived for over 50 years. She was much loved as a wife, daughter, sister, mother, aunty and grandma and will always be remembered.

We would love to see your photos and read your memories that you have of her. Any money donations will go to the local hospice. She loved the care team there who looked after her in a very special and caring way.

Thoughts

Written on behalf of Shinu, Saju, Nanma, Deya & Dan Sister Berthlyn was a unique and rare person who had principles that drove her throughout her life. She was very kind and sweet. Myself and brother Saju always remember the way she comfort us, and her motherly cuddle. When I was thinking about sister Berthlyn , I remember a song she sang along with Ps Alex in the church on a Sunday. It says ‘ through it all , through it all , I ‘ve learned to trust in Jesus, I ‘ve learned trust in God. Sister Berthlyn, we will always remember you, though you are no more here. Your legacies remains alive with us . You were unique in your own way. You lived your life the best way you could. You ran a race God set before you. Now that you have gone the way of all men . We are sad that you are no more here . But we will always celebrate your memory . Sister Berthlyn go your way, and rest; you shall rise for your reward at the end of the days.” Thinking of Ps Alex , the girls and the grand child. May the love of families and friends comfort you all during these difficult days, Our most heartfelt condolences

My heartfelt condolences to Uncle Roy and family. I know it is a difficult time for you all saying farewell to your beloved wife, mother, grandmother. My fondest memory of Berthlyn was her selfless act to look after my five month old twin nephews whilst my sister and I flew to Jamaica to bury my father. She didn't skip a beat to say yes. That is the person that everyone knows, a selfless character that always said yes. RIEP🙏🏾 Sylvia
